Supporting Jamaica’s Future

Oracabessa Bay Turtle Project

Jamaica's shores are nesting grounds for several endangered sea turtle species, magnificent creatures that have graced our oceans for millions of years. The Oracabessa Bay Turtle Project is dedicated to protecting these vulnerable populations. They face a multitude of threats, including habitat loss, poaching, and accidental capture in fishing gear. The ECO Run will raise funds to support the project's critical work, which includes beach patrols, nest monitoring, and public education initiatives aimed at raising awareness about the importance of sea turtle conservation.

Tryall Fund

This initiative, established by Tryall Club, fosters a love for the environment and education among Jamaican youth.  Funds raised by the ECO Run will support the Tryall Fund's programs, empowering future generations to become stewards of the island's natural beauty.

Montego Bay Marine Park

This critical park serves as an underwater sanctuary, safeguarding Jamaica's vibrant coral reefs. These reefs are not just stunning natural wonders; they are teeming underwater rainforests that provide habitat for countless marine species. They also act as a natural barrier, protecting Jamaica's coastlines from erosion and storm surges. However, coral reefs around the world are under threat from climate change, pollution, and overfishing. The funds raised by the ECO Run will support the Montego Bay Marine Park's essential conservation efforts, which include reef monitoring, educational programs, and enforcement of regulations to protect this vital resource.
